ALC’s Start Up on September 8th
ALCs exist to provide an avenue for spiritual growth in the context of community. In addition to equipping on Sundays, each learning community periodically provides opportunities for members to connect outside of classroom time to develop deeper relationships.

Life Builders – How much do you know about the Holy Spirit’s work in your life? Is He somewhat “optional,” or is His work absolutely critical to your salvation and growth? What is the baptism of the Holy Spirit? Is every Christian “filled with the Spirit?” What is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit? What does it mean to “quench” or “grieve” the Holy Spirit? Join the Life Builders class as they explore the role of the most neglected member of the Trinity. Life Builders meets at 10:45 a.m. in the East Campus Chapel.
Seekers – Life Builders is intended for anyone age 60+. The class meets at 9:15 a.m. in the East Campus Chapel. Join the class as Lee Norris teaches “Finding Truth & Living It No Matter What: A Study of Jeremiah.”
Early Risers – Early Risers is ready to support your spiritual growth through enriched biblical instruction. Their theme this year is “Equipping Christians to Live in the 21stCentury”. Beginning September 8, guest instructor Mike Boyle, an exceptional teacher and professor at Moody Bible Institute, will begin their study by sharing ways that believers can help the next generation lead the Church. Join Early Risers, a multi-generational learning community, at 8:00 a.m. in the West Campus Alpha Room (lower level).
Pathfinders – Pathfinders is intended for anyone in their 30s-40s. The class meets at 9:15 a.m. in West Campus Room 5 (lower level). Join the class as Dave Prost leads a study on Isaac, Jacob, and Esau titled “Wrestling with God”.
Built to Last – Built to Last is intended for young couples (20s-30s) with children. The class meets at 10:45 a.m. in West Campus Room 103. Starting September 8, Steven Lemon will teach a series titled, “Built to Love: What You Won’t Learn from Watching the Bachelorette.”
