Ride for Refuge
On October 5th, World Relief is hosting the “Ride for Refuge”, an up to 30 mile bike ride to raise support for people who have fled or been displaced from their home countries.
There are three ways to participate in fundraising:
1.) Ride as an individual rider. Register online and join “Team WRDA”. For people over 18, each rider is asked to raise $150 or more. If they can, the registration fee of $25 is waived. For people 13-17 who want to ride, they are asked to raise $75.
2.) Ride as a part of a team that rides for Team World Relief DuPage Aurora. This is a great option for church youth groups, small groups, etc. that would like to raise money collectively rather than as individuals (though people can still sponsor individual members).
3.) Donate towards the event but choose not to ride.
Visit the Ride for Refuge Page to register.
