  • Wow! We have been dear friends of the Marino’s for many years. What a blessing to hear how God has worked in their lives. We became friends before any of us came to a point of surrender to Jesus so this story touches me deep in the heart. What a precious, precious family that we personally love dearly. Thanks for sharing.

  • Marinos are awesome. Trusting God, not work. Then God brings work. I know that song.
Mitch and Joey are a great team with our adventure club group. Joey is full of joy and Mitch’s maturity and devotion belie his age.
This is my favorite year, so far, at adventure club.
What a loss it would have been if they had not found us and brought their faith for us to share.
Balling like a baby picturing Joey running to Jesus and jumping on him and knocking him down.
    I love Gospel Stories!!!

  • What a wonderful story. I am a parent of a special needs child. Well, Jason is 29 now, but when I looked at Joey it brought back memories of when I struggled trying to find a church where Jason would be accepted.

Thank God, we found a church home where Jason was welcomed, loved, and appreciated. It was a pleasure hearing the Marinos story of strength and perseverance and through it all they believed that the Lord would make away.

It so heart warming to hear about a ministry like FBCG that embraces all of God’s children.

    Thanks for sharing.

  • I knew you many, many years ago when you and your brother, Billy, lived on Pierce Ct in Bolingbrook. Have often wondered how you were doing. So glad to see that you are doing well despite the challenges you have faced. Blessings to you and your family.
