Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to be “baptist” to attend FBCG?

No! People from all church or denominational backgrounds are welcome. We know that “baptist” can be a scary word to many – and sometimes is a barrier to people trying FBCG – so we work hard to be the kind of place that makes people feel comfortable and accepted – no matter what their personal or spiritual background. In fact, quite often we hear something like this from first time vistors, “Wow, this isn’t what I expected!”

Do I have to be a member in order to take communion?

Again, No! We believe the communion table (the Bread and the Cup) does not belong to FBCG – but to the Lord. The only requirement to taking communion is that you have placed your personal faith in Jesus as Lord and Savior.

What do children do while parents worship?

Children are welcome to worship with their parents or to participate in our age-specific children’s or student ministries. All of our weekend services offer children’s ministries alongside worship services. Check the worship schedule to know what is offered at each service.
