The main church library has been relocated to the lobby of the East Campus in the “Fireside” room, and is nearly complete and “open for business”. The library houses approximately 9,000 items including books, audiobooks on CD, and DVDs. Anytime the East Campus is open, resources may be checked out using the white notebook on the table at the west end of the library. Our family library includes resources for both children and adults.
A selection of books for adults is located on the north side of the lobby on the West Campus. Books are available for self-checkout anytime the West Campus is open. Resources can be requested from the main library for pickup at the West Campus.
A large selection of books and DVDs for children, ages toddler through sixth grade, is located on the lower level near the children’s Sunday school rooms. Books may be checked out by parents each Sunday between services from 10:15 A.M. – 10:45 A.M. and after the second service from 11:45 A.M. – 12:00 noon.
On our Facebook page, the FBCG Library regularly features new books, audiobooks on CD, or DVDs. Become a follower of the FBCG Library on Facebook, and check out a resource that captures your interest!
Our FBCG Library catalog is now online! If you would like to browse the catalog, visit our online catalog page. You may search for books, DVDs or books on CD, and you can also reserve an item. The catalog will also inform you if an East Campus item is currently checked out.
A library card is required to check out resources. Card applications are available on both campuses.
All members and friends of FBCG are welcome to check out materials.
Materials checked out from the library can be returned to either campus, regardless of the campus from which you checked out the materials. If you wish to renew an item, please email email@example.com and include your name, the name of the item, and the date to which you would like the item renewed.
Items may be requested using our online catalog, or request forms are available at the East Campus (Main) and West Campus Library. Books from either campus can be requested to be transferred to the other campus for pickup. New requests for purchases will be considered according to the budget and/or selection policy.
The library accepts new and used Christian books, DVDs and books on CD, all in good condition without markings. Materials should be published within the last 10 years, unless they are classics. Any materials that we are not able to use will be passed on to other libraries.
