Mark your calendars for the 13th Annual Pie Auction on Sunday, November 16 from 6 to 8 p.m. at West Campus. This would be a great time to buy your pies for the Thanksgiving holiday while also supporting our Student Missions trips in 2015! Our DTP groups are sponsoring the evening, and we are currently seeking volunteers to bake pies. Contact Shayna Duncan at email@example.com or call (630) 232-7068 ext. 120.
It’s a tragic reality that 100 million Christians in over 60 countries around the world suffer persecution for their faith. Join us on Sunday, November 2 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in Room L36 at East Campus for a time of prayer for the persecuted church. You’ll also have an opportunity to hear about the recent trip to Dubai by Pastor Brian Coffey, Pastor Bruce McEvoy and Dave LeVan of FBCG’s Serve the World Team.
Rehearsals have begun for the East Campus Sanctuary Choir and Orchestra Christmas program on December 14 at 4pm and 6pm_If you are interested in being part of the choir, no audition is required. Auditions for the orchestra are now being held. If you’re interested, please contact Dee Compton at firstname.lastname@example.org. Choir rehearsals are Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m. in the East Campus Sanctuary.
Summer and her family are longtime members of FBCG. She and fellow Geneva High School DECA Club members Alex Lopez and Lane Zimmerman organized the cookie bake sale. In all, about 20 students from the club are participating.
“The Food Pantry is very close to my heart,” says Summer. “We chose to do this event because we know there is a need in the community.”
Each month, more than 280 individuals and families benefit from the Food Pantry, which relies completely on donations. We praise God for young people like Summer and her DECA Club friends for their generosity and commitment to helping others!
The new GECHAAN clinic in Nigeria greatly enhances the ministry’s capacity to care for patients.
Art and Dorothy and GECHAAN’s entire staff extend their sincere thanks to the congregation of FBCG for your generosity in making the new clinic building possible. We thank God for the blessing of sharing in such a significant ministry!

The new Children’s Commons on the lower level at East Campus provides a great environment for kids to learn about Jesus in fun and colorful rooms created especially for them.
At Kid Station, 1st through 4th grade children are learning “The Big God Story” through a new curriculum that incorporates creative activities, worship, Bible storytelling and more. The lower level also includes a new Child Care area and a remodeled Preschool. The Growing to Serve enhancements to East Campus, along with new facilities at West Campus, are helping us accomplish our FBCG mission to reach, connect, equip and serve.
What members of the FBCG family are saying about the new Word & Table Service…
“This was our first time at Word & Table and we loved it. If I had to describe the service in three words, they would be: vulnerability, humility and worship.”
“I feel part of a body again at Word & Table, and I have come away each Lord’s day humbled and challenged in my faith. I have been inspired and it has created a longing to be with my body of believers! My family!”
If this sounds like the type of service that would interest you and your family, we encourage you to join us!
