“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so that we can do the good things He planned for us long ago.” Ephesians 2:10

At FBCG we believe all children are loved and valued by our Lord, Jesus Christ. Every child has a place to belong. Masterpiece Ministry is intended to help children with special needs and their families experience love and acceptance during worship, instruction, and fellowship at FBCG.

We are experienced and able to provide this ministry for children and youth with a wide array of needs and limitations including: autism spectrum disorders, speech delays, physical impairments, neurological disorders, developmental delays, behavioral problems, emotional issues, cognitive impairments and learning disabilities.

This ministry strives to create an environment that helps children with special needs become all God has created them to be, and provides encouragement and support to family members. If you have child with a special need who does not fit into a regular Sunday school class, this ministry can help.

Masterpiece Ministries has programs for birth-8th grade on Sunday mornings at the 9:15 service at West Campus in room 13. One-on-one buddies can also be arranged for other hours.

Buddy Break

Buddy Break is a free respite program where youth (ages infants – 20 years old) with special needs make new friends, play fun games, enjoy crafts, stories, music, activities and more! Siblings have fun too! Meanwhile, their caregivers get a break from their ongoing care-giving responsibilities for three hours.

Our next Buddy Break will be held on November 1st, from 10am – 1pm at the West Campus. Siblings are also invited to come for this activity-filled day.
