We invite you to Moms Connected, a program for mothers of tweens and teens. We serve as a ministry to encourage, support and build connections with other women also in the stage of teen-age parenting.
Our Moms Connected morning includes informal social time, breakfast, an informative speaker and discussion groups. Join us for a relaxing morning and insightful wisdom on guiding your teen during this important stage of parenting!
How to Effectively Communicate with my Adolescent and Receive more than One-Word Answers in Return
“What did you do today?”
“How was school?”
Sound familiar? Adolescents are often communicative with friends but not as communicative with parents. Join therapist Jennifer Stenzel as she teaches us practical skills to improve communication with our teens. As the Executive Director of Stenzel Clinical Services Ltd, Jennifer Stenzel, LCPC, has worked with teenagers for over 15 years. She specializes in treating anxiety, depression, self injury, and eating disorders. Jennifer and her husband, Grant, have two teenagers of their own – Zach, 17 and Abbey, 14.
