This ministry reaches out to single moms of all ages who are divorced, widowed or never married.  The group meets on Sunday mornings at various times throughout the year.  Some morning brunches include a guest speaker with a pertinent and practical presentation, while other mornings are set aside for moms to simply enjoy getting to know each other by sharing their own experiences and helpful resources.  Our desire is for single moms to be supported, cared for and encouraged through this unique ministry designed just for them.

If you’d like to be added to our e-mail distribution list to receive information about upcoming gatherings and events, please contact Lorene at lcoffey@fbcg.com.

Topic: “Living a Story Worth Telling”

In this talk, special guest Krista Brennfoerder, will examine how the accomplishments, disappointments and grief in our lives can be used to tell a better story. Join us for a discussion exploring how we can allow the Gospel to impact the shame of our past in order to live a more meaningful future.

About our Speaker: Krista Brennfoerder is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor working for Centennial Counseling Center in St. Charles. She enjoys working with women to free them from the chains of anxiety, depression and past hurts in order to help them live more fully out of the persons God created them to be. Krista lives with her husband, Nick, in St. Charles and enjoys conversations over coffee, outdoor sports, and visiting her family in Northern Michigan.

Future brunch dates: December 14, February 15, April 12 and June 7
