Refugee Partners

FBCG Refugee Partners serve people displaced by war, famine, or politics who are resettled here by the US government through World Relief. Opportunities exist to volunteer directly with World Relief, Aurora http://worldreliefaurora.org/ as a friendship partner, or tutor, or to serve in several ways with others from FBCG. Opportunities to Serve

Ladies’ Tea Time: Encourage refugee women through your friendship, sharing practical homemaking skills and conversational English over tea and treats. Meets Thursdays from 11:30-2 at St. David’s Church, Randall & Illinois Ave., Aurora. Contact: Ruth Nelson

Assist refugee women in reading and learning the Bible. Meeting Fridays 11:30-2 at St. David’s Church on Randall and Illinois in Aurora. Contact: Ruth Nelson
