When everyone in the church serves with the gifts God has given, we truly become what the Bible calls us-the body of Christ. What need do you really care about? Perhaps you have a heart for high school students or enjoy greeting people or have a passion for landscaping. FBCG has numerous ministry teams that serve the needs of the church and the community. We each have something special to offer.

FBCG  is dedicated to creating a warm and welcome environment for members and guests. Those serving in hospitality are the face that welcomes a visitor when they walk in our doors; the face that brings comfort when a member experiences loss; the face that shares joy at the birth of a child and celebrates at a wedding. If you have the gift of hospitality, consider how you can serve at FBCG.

First Impressions Team

Inspired by Romans 15:7, First Impressions Team servants welcome FBCG church family and guests, creating a warm first impression. There are four areas of service including Greeters, Welcome Center Volunteers, Cafe Attendants, and Guest Follow-Up Callers. Greeters serve a 15-minute shift before the service of their choice, holding open the front doors and welcoming people as they enter the building. Welcome Center Volunteers serve 15 minutes before and after their choice service, standing behind a kiosk to answer questions that people have about various ministries. Our Cafe Attendants stand behind the coffee bar, greet people, and make sure pastries are restocked and available. Guest Follow-Up Callers make contact with any guests who fill out a Connection Card, welcoming them to the church and passing along any information about the ministries of the church.
