Serving on the First Impressions TeamInspired by Romans 15:7, the First Impressions team welcomes FBCG church family and guests, creating a warm first impression. There are five areas of service including Café Attendants, Greeters, Guest Follow-Up Callers, Ushers, and Welcome Center Volunteers. We appreciate all of our volunteers!

Romans 15:7, “Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.

Description: Café Attendants stand behind the coffee counter, greet people, and make sure pastries are restocked and available.

Serving Opportunity: We are in need of Café Attendants at both campuses to serve a half hour shift before, in-between, or after services. Training is provided.

Description: Greeters serve a 15-minute shift before the service of their choice, holding open the front doors and welcoming people as they enter the building.

Serving Opportunity: We are in need of additional Greeters at the West Campus before before the Saturday evening service. Volunteers can serve weekly, 2x/month, or monthly.

Description: Guest Follow-Up Callers make contact with any guests who fill out a Connection Card, welcoming them to the church and passing along any information about the ministries of the church.

Serving Opportunity: We are in need of Guest Follow-Up Callers to serve on a weekly basis.  Guest Follow-Up Callers make phone calls from their home on Mondays, at their convenience.

Description: Ushers serve on a rotational basis on both campuses to distribute bulletins, collect the offering, seat worshipers, and provide building security.

Serving Opportunity: We are in need of additional Ushers at both campuses to serve during the service of their choice. Training is provided.

Contact: East Campus – Ralph Lohr; West Campus – Doug Drayer

Description: Welcome Center Volunteers serve 15 minutes before and after their choice service. They are available to welcome new guests and answer questions that people have about various ministries.

Serving Opportunity: We are in need of additional Welcome Center Volunteers at the West Campus to serve before and after the Saturday evening service. Volunteers can serve weekly, 2x/month, or monthly. Training is provided.
