Visiting teams will help with VBS activities (crafts, song, story telling) and sports camps at the church compound and in the nearby neighborhoods. Teams will have the opportunity to partner in service projects; painting homes, basic construction, cleaning yards and beaches. Teams may work with community boys and girls clubs, spend time visiting nursing homes (playing dominos, painting fingernails, singing worship songs – just a few activities we’ve done in the past), and visiting orphanages.

Our sites are very relational and we encourage visiting teams to share their testimonies and spend quality time with those they are ministering to. The teams will be able to share meals with community children, youth and adults. They’ll have the opportunity to take in cultural experiences and enjoy the delicious Puerto Rican cuisine! This is a great opportunity for any students studying Spanish to put their language skills to use! Puerto Ricans really like when visitors try to speak Spanish and are very gracious. Translators will be available too.

There will be several opportunities to learn about the Puerto Rican culture and history and to enjoy the beautiful Caribbean beaches and water!

The cost of this trip is partly funded through fundraising efforts and writing support letters.
