A Couples Group focuses on strengthening marriage and developing supportive relationships with other married couples. It is a safe place to grapple with the challenges and successes of married life. Using marriage-based curriculum, the group objective is to glorify God through honoring marriage and upholding faithfulness. We believe the Bible defines marriage as one man joined to one woman in a covenant relationship. Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him–a threefold cord is not quickly broken. Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
We believe the Bible defines marriage as one man joined to one woman in a covenant relationship. God designed marriage to be a beautiful reflection of Christ’s love for His Bride, the Church. Our Premarital Class is a Christ-centered community committed to supporting and encouraging strong, God-honoring marriages from the very beginning. It is an opportunity to be involved in intentional community with other young engaged couples, learn from a mentor couple, and prepare for your upcoming marriage.
